Long Island Shetland Sheepdog Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer 501(c)3 organization who want to help displaced Shelties find their forever homes.
We are always looking for volunteers to help foster, transport and help with fund raising and of course we always accept donations.

We serve all of Long Island as well as the 5 boroughs and upstate NY
Additional adoption info
Applications are required before meeting one of our rescues. Adoption donation can range from $250 to $500 depending on the age of the sheltie . We also require a home visit as well as signing a contract.
All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, brought Up-tp-Date on vaccinations as well as heart worm tested and micro-chipped.
