Switzerland County Animal Shelter

The Switzerland County Animal Shelter is a County ran Animal Care and Control Facility openned in September 2007. We serve Switzerland County residents. SCAS works with a number of rescues to help place our animals. Tara, Roger, myself (Keli) and all of our volunteers do our very best for the pets that come through the shelter, because we love animals so much. Our pets come mostly from owner surrender and stay/abandonded pick ups and drop offs. We have proudly ended the past two years with a 93% out alive rate with the dogs that come into our shelter! Your 2009 Indiana State Fair Grand Champion Kitten "Norbit" was adopted by Isaac Hart from the Switzerland County Animal Shelter! Congratulations to Isaac and Norbit!
