Shelter FAQs

Our animals will stay with us until they find a home unless they are unadoptable due to health, age, mental stress, etc. If that does occur they are humanely euthanized by a certified tech. We are a non profit shelter. All animals are given first set of vaccinations, feline leukemia/aids tested, deworming, heartworm exam, and flea treatment. Adoption fee includes microchip and a 30 day free Health Insurance Policy. We have a 24 hour Emergency Response Team for sick/injured animals in Trumbull County.
We can do out of state adoptions.

Additional adoption info

Adoption Fee:
Puppies under 6 months: $200
Dogs 6 months to 7 years: $150
Dogs over 7 years: $120
Kittens: $50
Cats: $35
Caring Companion or DIPP Dog: $200

Adoption form must be filled out and approved, we have the right to refuse any adoption.

Adoption Contract will need to be signed.

Adoption follow-up to home may be required.

We do out of state adoptions but we do not ship, or hold animals.

Will need references, veterinarians etc.
