Tri-Lakes Humane Society

"We speak for those who cannot" has been our shelter's motto since 1973. Since 1942 our members and staff have rescued homeless and unwanted pets, and placed them into new and loving homes. We are very involved in our local community, and we have a Humane Education program and we travel to local schools to educate children on proper animal care, the importance of spaying and neutering, and how to be kind to animals. Our Spay/Neuter Assistance Program provides financial aid to low income pet owners who need help affording the cost of the surgery at local Veterinary Hospitals and Clinics. We also have a Trap-Neuter-Return program to help local community feral cats. The Tri-Lakes Humane Society employs an Animal/Dog Control Officer, and contracts with local towns and villages. Our Dog Control Officer is in charge of enforcing the local Dog Control ordinances. From time to time, we also become involved in animal cruelty cases and assist local law enforcement with their investigations. Looking for ways to help us?
