Shelter FAQs

SpokAnimal will save lives by caring for and finding loving homes for homeless pets in our community and beyond.

Our strong community presence and relationships help identify the need for innovative programs that are designed to strengthen the human-companion animal bond by providing resources for pets and their people.

From our food bank to our clinical programs, our vision will always be to help those who are not able to fully provide for their pets.
We assist owners and animal finders within our community and beyond that need a safe place for animals looking for new homes. And our Cruisin' Critters Transport Program and partnerships with Wings of Rescue and Dogs is my Copilot allows us to help shelters and rescue groups both within our own community and beyond that have too many animals entering their doors.

Additional adoption info

We have adoption centers located within the three local PetSmarts, three local PetCos, and in the Kitty Cantina. These adoption centers feature cats daily and at the PetSmarts we have dogs appear for adoption starting around Noon. Additional dogs are available for adoption at our main facility by appointment only.

Adoption fees include spaying/neutering, microchip, 1st set of vaccinations, rabies vaccination, a wellness exam, and a lifetime of love, licks, and tail wags.
