No appointment is necessary to view/adopt! Adoptions are done on a first-come, first-serve basis. We ask that you come prepared to complete and finalize adoption, and to take the animal home at the time of your visit if the right match for you is found at our shelter. You may browse adoptable pets online here www.hssaz.org/adopt

Our adoption counselors will be happy to answer all your questions and give you background information on the animal that interests you. All members of the household (including other current household dogs, if possible) should be present to ensure the chosen pet is compatible with everyone during you appointment.
