Rescue FAQs

Our shelter is located in Harrison, Arkansas. We take in dogs and cats that are unwanted, abused, neglected or abandoned. We care for these animals, give them love, and any medical attention they may need within our means.

Our goal is to ensure that the animals we adopt out will go to loving homes that are suited to their individual personality as well as the home is capable of giving the care our animals deserve.

We stand behind all our animals 100%, if you need guidance or advice once our animals are in your home we are always available. If by chance the adoption does not work out WE WANT OUR ANIMAL RETURNED TO US. There is much love and effort placed in every animal that crosses our path, these dogs and cats are our family, our babies. We will be in touch after the adoption to make sure all is going well. Any pictures or letters to show how things are going is always appreciated.
Our dogs and cats are rescued from Harrison Arkansas and surrounding areas. These animals are at our Humane Society as well as in foster homes both here in Arkansas and in other states. They stay with us until we find them their forever home.

Additional adoption info

Because of the fees involved in adopting an animal there will be an adoption donation. This donation will cover the cost of being spayed or neutered, shots, transportation costs (if applicable), and any veterinarian fees that will be acquired before a dog goes on transport (if applicable). Payments can be made using our pay pal account or with a certified check or money order.

Besides a phone interview, veterinarian, work and land lord references will be checked; also home visits will be done.

ALL ANIMALS BEING ADOPTED FROM OUR SHELTER WILL BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Our animals will be up to date on all shots. Any medical complications that we are aware of will be disclosed before the adoption.
