Rescue FAQs

We are a group of independent dachshund lovers. All of our dachshunds come from shelters, strays or are owner surrenders. We spend our own time & money to get the animals healthy & current on vaccinations & spayed or neutered. We are all volunteers, and all of our fosters pets stay with us in our homes. Our adoption fees rarely cover vet expenses so dontations are always needed & appreciated. We also need foster homes & transport help!
All of Texas, main location is Bryan/College Station. But we can & do adopt out all over the state. We have volunteers in different cities. We are always looking for more volunteers & transport help. The more help we have the more unwanted & homeless dachshunds we can save.

Additional adoption info

Application & home visit is required. Current pets must be spayed or neutered & up to date on shots & Heartworm prevention. The vaccination requirement maybe altered to meet certain pets medical need. The main thing we are looking for is that your current pets are taking to a veterinarian on a regular basis.
