One received we will review the application and contact you . Please be patient as this can take up to a week . You are welcome to drop us an email as a reminder .Once received , there will be a phone interview , to answer any questions you or we may have .
If you are a first time ferret owner , we will recommend a few websites to familiarize yourself with general ferret care and health issues .
A visit to the shelter to meet the ferrets is the next step .We will also need to do a home visit , to help make recommendations for ferret proofing .It is most important to have a ferret knowledgeable that you can build a relationship with .If you have a current vet we may contact them for a reference . If you are a renter a note or phone call from your landlord will be necessary.
There is an adoption fee starting at $50.00 to $100.00 depending on the age of the ferret . There is a $20.00 discount for multiples .
Ferrets are ADV negative , and have rabies , and distemper vaccines .
