Rescue FAQs

We started in March 2008. We have already taken in over 25 reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids. We do not charge to take in animals; we then rehabilitate them, take them to the vet as needed; work with them on aggression when needed, and assist in medical issues until they are ready to find a new adoptive forever-home.
All over Iowa; As well as Omaha, Quad Cities, Minneapolis, Wisconsin and farther out

Additional adoption info

To adopt, individuals must fill out a free application. We will have them meet with the animals available. We will discuss their care knowledge and try to match the right animal to the right person. We will make sure to follow state and city laws as far as forbidden reptiles, etc.
