Very Long process involving interviews, animal trianing, home checks, reference checks.
Adoption fees are
$350.00 for puppies (0-6 mo)
$250.00 for adults (6 mo - 7 yr)
$150.00 (7 yrs + up)
$175.00 kittens (0-6mo)
$100.00 adults (6 mo - 7 yrs)
$50.00 seniors
All aminals are temperment assessed, dewormed de-flead, spayed or neutered and vaccinated PRIOR to adoption and leaving the shelter.
All dogs undergo 3-6 weeks of basic training at the Fraser Valley Women's Institute where they live at the prison with the inmates. This training is valued at $1200.00 and includes basic obedience training and socialization.
