Rescue FAQs

A small group of volunteers raised the funds to build a no-kill animal shelter in Collinsville, OK . We opened our building on January 26, 2008. Since that time we have found homes for 400+ pets. We are staffed by three part time workers and many volunteers. We are dedicated to finding homes for all our pets. They are exercised 3-4 times a day, all are returned to a healthy weight and given all necessary health care when they arrive. We have volunteers from all walks of life...Scouts, students, home schoolers, and concerned community people. We do it because it breaks our hearts to see these babies on the road, roaming the streets, living under deserted homes, and generally needing love and care. Ward-Wiseman was named after two very caring men who helped us make this dream a reality. Dr. Lincoln Ward and Father Bill Wiseman. We have found outgo of funds is much more profuse than income of funds...we are always in need of funding help. You can donate via our website, www.wwahonline.org. Thank you for the opportunity to join AdoptaPet.
