Real Rescue, Inc.

Real Rescue was started in 2001 by Dana and Chris Venters, husband and wife and both lifelong animal lovers. We bought an 80 acre beautiful farm/sanctuary outside of Oklahoma City for the Rescue to call home. We have no paid staff. All donated money goes directly to the care of the animals. We are a Petsmart charity and adopt out of the Oklahoma City area Petsmarts. We also have visitors to our farm by appointment. We rescue dogs, cats, pot-bellied pigs. We have a variety of animals because we have always rescued whatever crossed our path and needs help. We created the rescue because both Chris and Dana had rescued animals all their lives before "rescue" became a term.
