Located in Pasco, Washington, the Tri-Cities Animal Shelter (TCAS) is a publicly funded stray/redemption facility that serves the residents and animals within the city limits of Pasco, Richland, and Kennewick. Balancing the use of public resources that fund the shelter, TCAS sometimes has limitations on the number of animals it can accept, ensuring quality care for each one.
TCAS considers all animals, unless they have significant, non-repairable medical injuries, as adoptable upon intake, which includes any medical care, spay/neuter, shots, and microchip. The hope for the shelter and staff is to place all animals in an appropriate home or setting they can thrive.

Dog adoptions are available on a walk-in basis. Please remember that if you have other dogs, we ask that, for their safety, they be fully vaccinated and remain in your vehicle until directed by shelter staff. We have extended our Clear the Shelter adoption fees until further notice. The fees are $50 for all dogs.
Cat adoptions are available on a walk-in basis. We have extended our Clear the Shelter adoption fees until further notice. The fees are $50 for all cats.
