Equine Rescue Resource Inc. (ERR) is a nonprofit organization helping horses in need. We strive to prevent cruelty to equines, educate the public on equine welfare issues, facilitate rescue efforts and help horses in need. We are dedicated to fostering a cohesive environment within the equine community and strongly believe that education, cooperation and networking are the keys to making a difference for horses in need. We are not a law enforcement agency. If you see any animal being kept in violation of New York State cruelty laws, please call your local police department and file a report. Anonymous calls and messages are not an effective means of “reporting a problem”. In the event guidance, education, shelter or rehabilitation of an equine is needed, law enforcement is welcome to call upon us as a supporting agency.
