Shelter FAQs

We are the Barnwell County Animal Shelter located in Barnwell, SC. We take in animals that the local animal control officers pick -up and from the community. We try get our animals adopted out in our community. We are working towards becoming a No Kill Shelter. We would like to save all lives possible.

Additional adoption info

Email animalshelter@barnwellcountysc.gov for adoption application. Our adoption fees are $80 which include spaying/neutering of the pet, their rabies shot vaccination, microchip, and heartworm tested.
