Rescue FAQs

We are an all-volunteer, foster-home-based group dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of abandoned, abused and otherwise neglected shih tzu and lhasa apsos. If we have space available, we take in dogs of all ages and with any type of medical condition.

Additional adoption info

An adoption applicaion is required. We ask for three references and a vet reference if you have had a dog in the past two years. We require a home visit.

We rarely adopt to homes with young children unless they have proven experience with shih tzu or lhasas or a similar temperament small dog.
