Shelter FAQs

We are a Non Profit, No Kill shelter that relies primarily on donations from the public. Our mission is to provide food, vet care, and unconditional love until we find suitable, loving and forever homes for our animals. All of our pets are current on vaccines, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered when old enough. We provide much needed vet care, which is our biggest expense. We have been a No-Kill shelter for 30 years. We encourage responsible pet ownership and strive to live in an animal friendly community.
We are a non-profit, No-Kill shelter that serves Worcester County, Maryland. including the areas of Ocean City, Berlin and Ocean Pines.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fee is $100 for cats & $150 for dogs.
We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application to and visit the pet they are interested in at the shelter. Applications are usually reviewed within 2 to 3 days.

No donation goes unappreciated!! Donations may be mailed to the shelter at PO Box 48 Berlin, MD 21811 or stop by the shelter. We are a non-profit shelter that operates almost entirely on donations!
