Rescue FAQs

Founded in 1993, the Animal Rescue & Foster Program is an in-home foster care organization for puppies, kittens, dogs and cats. ARFP is a no-kill organization. The Next Step Adoption Center was opened in 2003 as the next step in growing ARFP. It is all volunteer run and open to the public three times a week. Foster animals receive age appropriate vaccinations and are spayed or neutered before adoption. A trained adoption team screens potential homes in order to make the best possible match.
The Animal Rescue & Foster Program is an in-home foster care program located in Greensboro, NC. Pets for adoption come to ARFP from individuals that find them. They were all abandoned and in need of a second chance. ARFP also participates in rescues during natural disasters on the east coast.
