I'm a mail carrier, and I became aware of many abandoned cats on mail routes. People moved from apartments or lost houses and left cats behind. I take in as many cats as I can and find them good permanent homes.
I also work with special needs kitties, such as semi-ferals, those with chronic conditions or birth defects. It's wonderful being able to help those with no voice in the world!
