Rescue FAQs

West Side Animal League is a volunteer organization that rescues animals from various Fort Worth area shelters. We strive to accomplish our goal of responsible pet ownership by raising public awareness of the need to spay and neuter pets and holding adoption events, spending quality time socializing the animals and in many cases bringing them into our homes as fosters until they can find their own fur-ever home. We provide vaccinations and medical care as funds are available. 100% of our expenses are covered by donations and adoption fees. We are only able to accomplish this through the generosity of both time and money from others who also want to make the world a better place for our furry friends. If you would like to find out about opportunities to help, call our League line at 817-565-8222 or go to our meetup site at www.meetup.com/West-Side-Pet-Adoption-Meetup-Group. Thank you for your support as we continue Working to Save Animal Lives!
The West Side Animal League provides support to the animals in many Dallas/Fort Worth shelters and occasionally beyond.
