Upon approving your application we will contact you for an appointment to meet your new best friend!

Meet the Pet

We will arrange an appointment for you to come meet your pet of interest!

4.

Take the Pet Home

If all goes well, you can take the pet home that day!

Additional adoption info

To help ensure you adopt a pet that is a good fit for your home, we suggest that you and your family get acquainted with the animal of your choice. To begin the adoption process, you will need to fill out an adoption application. This creates an opportunity for us to help guide you in making a well informed decision. We strongly advise that all members of the family interact with the shelter animal prior to adoption. Home checks may be required prior to adoption approval and renters must provide written permission from their landlord. Some animals may have multiple applicants and will be matched with the most compatible environment provided.

All Humane Society of Wickenburg’s animals are spayed/neutered, given their initial vaccinations, and microchipped. We strive to match our dogs or cats to the best PAWSible Fur-Ever home. The adoption fee is $100 for dogs/cats over 1 year old, and $150 if they are under 1 year old. We reserve the right to refuse an adoption at any time.
