Rescue FAQs

Our orginazation was formed due to a percieved need within the community. Most rescues and shelters were full when a citizen would happen upon a stray and bring it to me (an animal person, of course). We also formed as a memorial to my deceased cat Greta. We are currently self-funded and very small, providing care and placement to only a few animals per year.We may expand our efforts to some extent in the coming years. We are also huge supporters of spay/neuter for all pets. We have this completed (on applicable species) prior to adoption to improve the lives of the animals from our rescue and to ensure that they will never contribute to the pet overpopulation epidemic.
Macomb, St. Clair, Lapeer counties (possibly others)

Additional adoption info

Application to be approved by rescue along with vet check, signing of contract required, fees variable by species - generally dog $80, cat $50, other $30 (unless habitats are provided). All vetting is completed prior to adoption to include sterilization.
