Additional adoption info
All prospective families must fill out an application and have a home visit by two members of our placement committee. A summary of the home visit and the application are provided to our Board of Directors who must approve the applicant. Once the Board approves the family, a meet & greet is scheduled to see if the Pug & family are a good fit. The family is required to enter into a Placement Agreement with our non-profit and an adoption fee is charged. The fee will depend upon the age and health of the Pug. The family agrees to attend a minimum of four (4) Pug meet-ups throughout the first year of placement as well as follow-up communication made with phone calls between the foster committee and new owner.
