Dog rescue in Whiting, NJ

Rescue Me rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes Yorkshire Terriers in need. Our dogs come from owners, shelters, backyard breeders and puppymills. All dogs are, at minimum, spayed/neutered, UTD on rabies, distemper, bordetella and lyme vaccines, heartworm/lyme tested, have bloodwork done and dentals when needed.

Additional adoption info

To adopt a Yorkie from our rescue, you must complete an online application, pass a vet reference check, phone interview and home inspection. If approved, we work with you to determine the dog who best matches you and your home. You must then drive to the foster home with your current pet(s) for the meet n' greet at which time you can adopt, if it is the correct match.
