Everyone is spayed/neutered prior to adoption. All dogs receive a one-year license, collar, and leash. Meet Our Animals To meet an animal at our Shelter, please make an appointment by calling 541-265-0720. One of our friendly Animal Care Specialists will work with you to find a good match for your family. Please bring all members of your family (including dogs if you are adopting another dog; dogs must also be licensed) for a socially distance appropriate meet and greet. If you rent, we will need landlord permission for the adoption. How Do the Animals Come to Us? Animals come to us lost as strays, surrendered by owners, or in protective custody due to abuse or neglect. We place all of our adoptable animals in homes or in the Second Chance Program (transporting to a rescue organization or another shelter), and we never euthanize animals for space. We provide extensive medical treatment, thanks to our Medical Fund, and all possible behavior modification training to give every animal their chance at a new life. Keep Visiting Us!
