SBR rescues homeless Basset Hounds and Owner Relinquishes all over the state of Florida. All the bassets are loved and cared for in foster homes through out Florida and Suncoast is a 100% volunteer run rescue.

Online application is required. Phone interview, homevisit and vet references. We do ask if you are not able to keep the SBR hound that you return it to SBR.

Because of our love for the breed Suncoast rescues basset hounds who need medical care, and or new homes. Suncoast also strives to educate and support our communities so the bassets will receive the best care, regarding medical and or behavioral issues.
