Rescue FAQs

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of Pit Bull Terriers. We also provide service dogs to veterans with PTSD as well as children with autism. We can adopt within a 4 hour driving distance from Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Additional adoption info

There is an adoption form https://lcpbr.com/adoption-form/ that must be completed and reviewed and approved. There is a $200 adoption fee that goes right back to saving another pittie in need. If already a dog owner, a vet reference is required. A home check is required. All of our adopted dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on all shots, micrcochipped and current on heartworm preventative. A private session with our trainer is included with each adoption. We can adopt within a 4 hour driving distance from Lake Charles, Louisiana.
