Additional adoption info

We request a donation when a new owner receives a dog. The recommended amount may vary depending on the amount of veterinary care or medicine/vaccinations required.
All prospective adopters sign a contract, and if unable to keep the animal, will surrender back to Aztec.

All prospective adopters will be screened by their suitability for each particular dog. This can range from other animals already in the family, the home and yard condition, the amount of time the new owner will be able to devote to training and care, to whether the new owner is able to handle the dog.
