Rescue FAQs

Copper's Dream Animal Rescue focuses its work on pulling dogs from high kill shelters like Bakersfield, where 50% of the 500 new dogs taken in every week are put down. We spay and neuter these animals, get them up to date on vaccinations, and then house them until loving, permanent homes can be found. To learn more or donate, visit: www.coppersdream.org. What does the adoption fee cover? Vaccinations, spay/neuter, usually kennel cough treatment, any other medical issues and transportation and/or boarding fees if necessary. Every dollar of your adoption fee goes toward the care and treatment of our dogs.
We serve the greater San Francisco Bay area.

Additional adoption info

Please look at the website for the adoption process including application, contract and fees for each dog.
