Rescue FAQs

We are a group of volunteers who work really hard to find amazing homes for our animals. We support our adopters throughout the experience and our commitment does not end when you sign the contract. For this reason we ONLY adopt LOCALLY. You can see more pictures on Facebook and Instagram
Sacramento, Placer, and Yuba Counties. Home checks are part of the adoption process, so we only adopt locally in the Sacramento area. If you have questions whether you are eligible by location, please feel free to email as it depends on where our volunteers live/work.

Additional adoption info

You can find our process online at: http://recycledpetsnorcal.org/adoption-process/

Once the application is approved, there is a home check. You can meet adoptable dogs at our bimonthly adoption events at Pet Food Express in Roseville. Generally the adoption fee is $200, but on occasion it may be slightly altered depending on age and need of the dog.
