Rescue FAQs

LIKE RESCUE DOGS? LIKE US ON FACEBOOK https://www.facebook.com/MuttSaversRescue MuttSavers Rescue mission is to save from euthanasia unwanted dogs from shelters with limited space and resources, find them permanent homes, and promote responsible animal ownership. We require proof from every adopter that the adopted animal is spayed/neutered within 90 days of adoption. In certain instances, we may require dog training classes as a condition of adoption. We're a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization. We are a foster rescue group. MuttSavers Rescue is a community of mutt lovers. We encourage participation of our foster families and having youth volunteers involved in our worth while goal of rescuing animals. We believe "mutt" is a term of endearment...most of the dogs left at shelters to perish are mixed breed animals that no one wants. We believe: Save a Mutt's Life…Adopt Then Save another Mutt's Life…Foster! Please email for info on our foster and/or the youth volunteer programs. muttsaversrescue@gmail.com facebook.com/muttsaversrescue www.muttsavers.org
Adopters come from Broomfield, Boulder, Denver, Longmont, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs and mountain resort areas.

Additional adoption info

We recommend doing research on the breed mixes of the dog you are interested in adopting.
Choose a veterinarian. We require vet's name and contact information.
IF you lease, please bring copy of lease's pet policy, guidelines and prohibitions to adoption event.
Adoption fee ranges from $200 to $300 to help offset the costs of housing, feeding and medical care for the animals in our care until we can place them in a loving home.
Complete a personal interview to make sure you are a good fit for the dog & the dog is a good fit for you. Understand that the needs of the animal come first. Our primary goal is to match the animals with the living situations that are best suited for their long term care.
All adoptions must be approved by the dog.
Take home your new family member!
Activate 24PETWATCH insurance.
If you have questions concerning the dogs we have listed for adoption or about the adoption process, we prefer for you to email muttsaversrescue@gmail.com.

MuttSavers Rescue is a foster rescue organization. We do not have a facility to visit.
