Rescue FAQs

We are a 501c3 non-profit rescue. We mostly serve the residents of Polk County and the Polk County Animal Control Shelter. Evaluating the animals housed there and pulling those that are slated for euthanasia. We spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip prior to adoption. We also organize and coordinate twice monthly transports from Cedartown to the West Georgia Spay/Neuter clinic giving residents in the area a low cost option for Spaying and Neutering of pets.

Additional adoption info

Generally our adoption fee for dogs is $250. Fees can sometimes vary depending on the age of the pet for adoption and/or the cost of care. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines and microchipped prior to adoption.
You will fill out an adoption application and attend a short interview.
