Shelter FAQs

Angel's Animal Rescue Society was started and named after a dog that was badly injured in a car accident. Two people died in the accident, but Angel survived. Thus, we dedicate this facility to the "warrior" called Angel. The work of Angel's Animal Rescue Society is supported entirely by donations. Through the generous hearts of people like you, animals that were once lonely, afraid and hungry, have been able to come to Angel's and learn how to love, play and trust again. Our Mission: Angel's Animal Rescue Society will provide a safe-haven for dogs (an other animals) that have been abused, abondoned and neglected. By methods of rehabilitation, we will help them find their canine-selves, a balanced state of mind, and the ability to adapt well to their new home. Angel's will offer the human breed a place to learn communication, care and compassion for and from the animals that reside here. Their education will be instrumental in "Breaking the Chains of Abuse". To see the work done at Angel's Animal Rescue Society you can view our video on You Tube at the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-Lav_5IvnA
Currently serving Merritt and surrounding areas including Kamloops, Ashcroft, Kelowna and Vernon. We, Angel's Animal Rescue, speak and act for, our furry friends, those we have rescued, are actively rehabilitating and preparing to be re-homed as well as, those that are desperate, not yet save, waiting to be found.
