We are a 501-c3 non profit rescue group. We are in-corperated in the State of Okla. We are a spay/neuter rescue. No dogs are adopted previous to all vet work being done.
We are not trying to adopt out the most dogs, we want to be the BEST rescue, and do more vet work than most groups to provide our dogs with the best chance at a long healhty life.....
our normal vet work is spay/neuter, vaccines, heartworm tests, complete wellness exam, worming, dental cleaning and microchipping. We also do heartworm treatment, knee surgeries, cherry eye repair, hernia repair, cancer treatment, eye removal if necessary, toe nail surgeries, broken bone repair, ANYTHING needed........
We get our dogs from owner surrenders, strays, city animal shelters, breeders, vets offices etc.
Our dogs do not live in a kennel situation, but as our pets in foster homes. This gives the dogs the best temporary home, and we get to know the dogs temperaments, and etc. Thereby helping adoptive families to make the right choice for their lifestyle. Which cuts down on the number of dogs returned....
We do application, references checks, home visit, and an adoption contract. Then we have a follow up program in order to keep in touch with how the dog is doing.
Additional adoption info
Our adoption fees are $150 except for the seniors or special needs dogs, they are $75. We offer a $25 discount on all dogs, to seniors & veterans. Ask about our "seniors adopting seniors" program.
We have an application, and then we check references, and we also do home visit. Our adoption contract states that if they should no longer be able to care for the dog, it MUST be returned to our rescue.
We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 10 years old. And we require a securely fenced yard and this will be inspected at time of home visit.
All other pets in the home must be spayed/ neutered.
Our dogs must live indoors.....
