I am a very, very small, independent dog rescue with limited space. . . I have been doing rescue since 2000. In the past, I have pulled dogs from our local shelter that had failed temperment, or were out of time and at risk to be euthanized. However, these days I've been running full with dogs which are abandoned and/or owner surrenders. I started doing rescue by fostering two sibling pups from our local shelter, who'd run out of time...been doing it ever since. I have only had one foster home in the past,however, for the past several years, I am solo, which limits me on the number of dogs I'm able to take in to rescue and care for. Whenever possible, if an owner is able to foster their own f of, I will assist in the reforming - this includes screening, the home visit + placement in addition to ensuring the dog is current on shots, heartworm, flea prevention + has been neutered/spayed.
