Rescue FAQs
Cherished Souls is a non-profit animal rescue. We save dogs and puppies that have no other rescue options and are scheduled to be euthanized in high kill over populated southern shelters. We do not pick and choose who we save, we save those pets that really need it! They are all pets that are highly adoptable and are killed due to space limitations! Our pets are available to adopters within a 2 hour radius of Mechanicsburg, PA.
Additional adoption info
We do require a completed adoption application and home visit before we approve adoptions. Please do not take offense, it's nothing personal, these pups are "cherished souls" to us, and we want to make sure they are going to good FOREVER homes! We also have a dog trainer that volunteers and fosters for us, she is willing to help with any issues our adopters may have at NO CHARGE! We want to make sure You and your New Pup are happy and satisfied!
