Animal Humane Association of Star Valley ..Lucky's Place

Lucky's Place is a facility that provides a safe, sanitary and healthy environment for the abandoned, lost and abused animals. Over the last several years we have fostered and placed in loving homes over 1200 cats and dogs that now have a second chance at life. In 2010 alone we adopted out over 410 animals. We are a 501 c 3. We have a spay/neuter day for the community twice a year. Each animal is S/N for a very low cost. If the pet owner can not afford the $20 fee, we waive the fee for them. We have really worked hard on the overpopulation of animals here in Star Valley. Lucky's Place is the first and only animal shelter in this Valley. We are a rural area and are changing the way people here think about animals.
