Rescue FAQs

Our mission is to provide temporary care and shelter for stray, abandoned and relinquished Dalmatians and to place as many as possible into responsible and caring homes. Our team also works to create awareness and support for the humane treatment of all animals and to end animal overpopulation through education and the promotion of spaying and neutering. Over the past few years and thanks to people like you, we have been able to save hundreds of dogs. Please help us save even more by volunteering your time or become a foster home or open you heart to a new addition to your family by adopting. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, visit our website and fill out an online application. Everyone needs their own spot!
We adopt nationwide, however we do not transport our dogs. Potential adopters visit the rescue to meet the dogs prior to adoption.

Additional adoption info

Potential adopters are required to fill out an online application. Applicants are contacted by one of our adoption coordinators. We do a vet check on applicants current pets prior to the actual applicant interview. If approved, the applicant is invited to come to the rescue to meet the dogs to find the perfect fit for their family. Adoption fees vary, depending upon the dog (purebred dalmatian, dalmatian mix, adult or puppy).
