Cat rescue in Santa Cruz, CA

Did you know that feral cats are responsible for 80% of kittens born each year? And that cats are now the most populous companion animal in the United States?
And it's estimated that there are as many feral cats as pet cats?
Most people generally understand the importance of
getting their pet cat spayed and neutered, but it is estimated that only 2% of feral cats across the country are spayed and neutered, so they are a HUGE source of kittens, and without intervention, in a humane, effective and
responsible way, our communities will continue to be overrun with animals.
Catch and kill doesn't work, and most people, when given an alternative prefer to let the cats live out their lives rather than be impounded and killed.
TNR is feral cat TLC. The breeding stops and quality of life for these cats improves... won't you join us?
