Shelter FAQs

The Clinton County Humane Society is a 501(C)3 non-profit, private, no kill shelter. We rescue animals from Clinton and surrounding counties. All of our animals are vet checked, vaccinated and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We do adopt out of state. Additionally, CCHS offers a monthly low-cost cat spay/neuter clinic for the public. We also have a program called "Project Abigail," in which we spay the mothers of the litters of puppies we intake to further reduce animal overpopulation in Clinton County.

Additional adoption info
