Shelter FAQs
We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals with a 'No-Kill' policy. Our efforts are focused primarily on finding loving homes for the many cats that are strays, abused, abandoned, surrendered or impounded.
All animals are given medical attention, spay/neutered, tested for FeLV & FIV, and vaccinated before placement. We are a 100% volunteer based shelter, dedicated to helping homeless cats find their forever families.

Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationFind the application at www.ctcatconnection.org. Be as thorough as possible to expedite it!
- Approve ApplicationAn adoption application screener will contact you via email; double check your email address to avoid delays.
- Visit the Facility and Find a PetOpen hours are listed on the website; visitors welcome even if not yet applied or application not yet approved.

Additional adoption info
Upon arrival, visitors and prospective adopters can meet dozens of cats! Kittens are mostly in foster homes and appointments are made to meet them once an application is approved.
