Additional adoption info

COHPBR's Priority is to rescue primarily Pit Bulls from high kill shelters and adopt them into amazing homes and the right homes. In order for us to know if you are and your family are going to be a good fit for the dog you are interested in, we need you to fill out a Adoption form prior to moving forward. This form tells us a little bit about your life style and helps us figure out if the dog you want has the right energy level and personality for your family. We will always work hard at finding a good match!
After we have reviewed your application we will give you a call to set up a good meeting place. If you have other dogs at home we ask that you pick a public park near your home. There are no exceptions. We will also need to schedule a home visit to see where the dog will be living. Last but not least COHPBR has a tax deductible DONATION fee of $95.00 that is required at the time of adoption along with a contract to make sure our dogs will never end up in a kill shelter.
