Rescue FAQs

LSAR is a small all volunteer Akita rescue located east of Dallas, Texas. The rescue founder loves Akitas thanks to her first rescue, Radar. This huge boy was running down the road when Valerie and her sister stopped and loaded him into the back seat of her sister's T-Bird. This is how it all began and as they say . . . . the rest is history! Donations greatly appreciated for the care of the orphan Akitas. Current needs include: heartwork preventative for 28 Akitas; two heartworm treatments, three neuters, annual check-ups with vaccinations and legal fees.
Texas, surrounding states and if possible, other areas where needed.

Additional adoption info

Adoption Fee is $300. Adoption contract required. Home visit for in-state adoption; photos for out of state adoption. Reference and Veterinary checks.
