Rescue FAQs

We are a Pit Bull Rescue based out of Forest City, NC. We pull mainly from Foothills Humane society, local Vet offices, Rutherford Animal control and on rare occasions accept owner surrenders. We temp test all our dogs and socialize them accordingly. All dogs come spayed/neutered, microchipped, UTD, crate trained and most are house trained.
We serve Rutherford County and surrounding areas.

Additional adoption info

Please download our adoption application at our site PitifulPits.org. We screen all homes before adoption is final. Our dogs must be mainly indoor pets as well have collar leash and dog tag with contact info upon adoption. Our fees range from $150 for young puppies, $100 for dogs between 1yr-3yrs and $75 for dogs older then 3yrs some special medical cases may raise adoption fee to help cover partial cost.
