Additional adoption info

Adopting a friend
We want to make sure our animal friends get the best home that fits their needs as well as the adoptees. Our first priority will always be to our rescue animals. We work hard to attempt to find the most suitable home for them and their new families. We try hard to know a little of the background and about the dogs personality.

We do have a contract that has to be signed before any adoption takes place. This is just to ensure that adequate care is provided for our animals so they can achieve their full potential in loving, permanant homes.

Contracts and Fees
To adopt an animal from us, we will require that you fill out an application and have at least one interview with you. Adoption fees vary and cover the costs of a comprehensive vet exam, a basic dental if necessary, spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm test, wormings, flea treatments, microchipping, professional grooming if needed and any additional medical treatment. We review applications, do e-mail and phone interviews, home visits before placing a dog in an adoptive homeThese fees are tax deductible. We also reserve the right to make a home visit to see where the animal is to be kept and verify fencing is secure. We take our adoptions very seriously, and reserve the right to choose the best home possible for those that can not speak for themselves!!!

Our dogs are trained to be a part of a household and are not to be left outside. They are all sweet and wonderful dogs that deserve a second chance at life!

Volunteers and Foster Homes
If you love animals and would like to volunteer, please feel free to contact us. We always are in need of volunteers!
