Swampy Paws Canine Rescue is a small family run non-profit animal rescue located in Livingston Parish. We provide a safe haven for abused, neglected and abandoned animals in rural Livingston Parish. Volunteers are needed in every area to continue to rescue the helpless animals. You do not have to foster to volunteer! You may only have an hour a week to dedicate and that's ok, we have something for everyone. Can't volunteer but want to help? Donations are always needed and appreciated! You may donate using PayPal at swampypawscaninerescue@yahoo.com You can donate directly to our account at our local vet's offices to help with medical costs.

Additional adoption info

Swampy Paws Canine Rescue currently has adoption fees that vary from senior to young dogs. Adoption fees include age appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, flea/heartworm prevention, heartworm test (if over 6 months of age), vet check and spay/neuter.

A fenced yard and home visit are REQUIRED to adopt

To donate please call 225-772-8836 or donations can be dropped off at Denham Springs Animal Hospital with the name Swampy Paws or Hickory Small Animal Hospital in Ponchatoula.
