Rescue Dogs Rock Animal Rescue - NJ

Rescue Dogs Rock is a NJ non-profit animal rescue based in Gloucester County, NJ. We are passionate about helping animals in need through rescue work and public education related to animal welfare issues. We work hard to find loving, responsible families for each of the animals we rescue. We are also dedicated to raising public awareness related to animal welfare issues. Through animal rescue/placement, animal advocacy, and education of the public, it is our hope that we may make a positive difference in the lives of animals.

Rescue Dogs Rock Animal Rescue specializes in rescuing and finding loving and responsible forever families for homeless companion animals, focusing primarily on dogs and puppies of all ages and breeds. We are also dedicated to helping animals through raising public awareness related to animal welfare issues. Through animal rescue and placement, animal advocacy, and education of the public, it is our hope that we may make a positive difference in the lives of animals. All of our rescued animals are spayed or neutered prior to placement in forever homes unless they are less than six months of age and/or cannot be spayed or neutered for health reasons. In this case, we require that the animal is spayed or neutered once he/she is old enough and is determined by a veterinarian to be healthy enough to be spayed or neutered. Our animals receive all necessary medical care and are all microchipped prior to their adoption.

Additional adoption info

Please visit out website www.RDRanimalrescue.org to download an adoption application which can be submitted by either printing/scanning/emailing or faxing to us. All applications must contain accurate and complete information. We require that you be at least 21 years of age.

Your application will then be received and processed. This includes required veterinary and personal reference checks which will be completed by our volunteers.

We will contact you after your application has been reviewed and, if approved, we will schedule and complete a required home visit. We ask that all family members and animals living in the home be present for the home visit.

When possible, we will bring the animal(s) you are interested in adopting with us to your home to meet you and your family. If this is not possible, we will contact you to schedule another time for you and your family (including animals in your family) to meet the animal(s) you are interested in adopting.

Following an approved home visit and meeting with the animal(s) you would like to adopt, the last step in our adoption process is to complete and sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. What's next? You get to take your furry friend home to love and spoil!

Please visit our website for more information about our adoption process and also to read the 'Frequently Asked Questions' page of our website for additional information about our rescue. This page includes information regarding our spay/neuter policy and what our adoption fees include.
