City Lights Foundation

City Lights Foundation is a non-profit originally founded to better respond to the animal welfare needs of Morgan Hill, CA. The foundation’s first 5 dog cases began with a call from the local police department asking for help. Animal welfare needs are great. The foundation’s mission is to make a difference. Please help make difference become a volunteer, a foster home or adopt a homeless pet today. Due to our limited resources and lack of available foster homes, we currently cannot accept any stray or owner surrendered animals. If you've found an animal, please make a report with your local animal shelter. Its owner may be looking for it. Also, get the animal scanned at a shelter or local veterinarian, as it may have a microchip. You can also try searching on Craigslist, or creating a post describing the animal you've found. If you absolutely cannot keep the animal, try contacting another local rescue, or do your research and take it to a very low to no-kill animal shelter, humane society, or SPCA. If the owners do not come forward, many of the Bay Area shelters work with local rescue groups to re-home adoptable animals.
