Yorkie Rescue of America is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit corporation. We are completely funded by donations and volunteers. All donations go towards the health and welfare of our rescues. Our Team We are completely made up of volunteers. Our volunteers are from walks of life, both women and men, and all ages. We all have some things in common, our passion for Yorkies. We can always use more help. So, if you would like to help, just let us know. Our Mission Our mission at Yorkie Rescue of America is to rescue yorkies from shelters, as well as take in owner surrenders. We provide the necessary medical treatment, rehabilitate, and find them loving furever homes where they will have a second chance at life.
